The 2023 Pacific NW Lineman’s Rodeo planning team presented an $85,000 check to representatives from the Oregon Burn Center.

The funds presented to the Oregon Burn Center will be used to support group activities for patients including:

    • Sending children to Burn Camps in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. At camp, children have an opportunity to be outdoors, climb, hike, ski, etc. and be among other children who are also burn victims. Additionally, nurses and firefighters will join these children at camp to assist them as counselors.
    • The LEAP program, which focuses on patients paddling down Class II, III and IV rapids in inflatable kayaks on the Deschutes and Lower Salmon River in Idaho.
    • Peer group opportunities where burn survivors meet with new patients and their loved ones to talk about what it’s like to be burned and what the journey to recovery entails. Also included in the peer program area monthly support groups and creative writing workshops.

We want to take a moment and recognize the hard work and dedication from the rodeo committee, the support from all the sponsors, and recognize the significant donations from PGE, Pacific Corp, Clark Public Utilities, IBEW local 125, 659 & 77, and our vendors.

Thank you all for your generous support!
