Question: Where do I get the 2023 Rodeo Information Package?

Question: Why is my Lineman Team required to provide a Team Judge?
Answer: Over the past 26 years, this event has grown more than expected. Each year as the number of teams and apprentices increase the need for judges coincide. In past years, shortage of overall judges meant volunteers could not take breaks, did not have the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the activities, were required to eat their lunches on the run, and were require to provide the longest commitments of the day from all the volunteers. Starting in 2022, we now consider the Team Judge as the fourth team member and a necessity to register.

Question: What are the prices for registering an individual or team?
Answer: For the 2023 Rodeo, Team registration fee is $200.00 USD and Apprentice/Pre-Apprentice fee is $75.00 USD.

Question: Am I able to combine multiple registrations into a single transaction?
Answer: 
Yes! Starting in 2022, we have implemented a shopping cart experience for registration. Simply add as many registrations as needed into a single shopping cart. You will be required to provide the registration details, one at a time, but there is no limit to the number of teams, apprentices, or volunteers you may add to a single shopping cart. Once you finish adding everything, simply proceed to checkout to complete your registration process.

Question: I am volunteering for the event (Volunteer Judge, or General Volunteer), once I register, I am prompted to “Check Out”? Why do I need to check out? I am paying for anything, whats the deal?
Answer: To simplify registrations for the Rodeo, we have implemented a “Shopping Cart” experience based on feedback from previous years (as mentioned above). If you are simply registering as a volunteer, please fill out the registration form, click the “Add to Cart” button, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button, check the box to “Accept Terms and Conditions”, and then click the “Submit” button. Volunteer registrations will not be prompted for payment or payment information.

Question: I work for an organization, and I need to register One or More participants (teams/apprentices). How do I do this?
Answer: Our new Shopping Cart experience process will allow you to add multiple registrations into a single “Shopping Cart” and provide one payment during checkout. Using our registration page, add each registration as needed into your cart. Once you have added all your registrations in the shopping cart, simply click the “Proceed to Checkout” button. On the Checkout page, provide your billing details, click the box to “Accept Terms and Conditions”, and then click the “Place Order” button. Please make sure you provide a valid email address with your Billing Details. This will be used to send you a copy of your registration details.

Question: What information are you storing/recording when I use your registration process?
Answer: We have strived to separate the registartion process from the payment process as much as possible. When you enter your team, individual, or vendor registration information, this information is documented securely within our website for the Rodeo planning purposes by the Rodeo Board. When you provide Billing and/or Payment information, this information is communicated directly with Square (an online payment processing service), and we do not have access to this information at all. Question: How are you processing Online Payments? Is my information secure?
Answer: We utilize WordPress to manage our website. We have adopted WooCommerce for our online registrations. WooCommerce is integrated with Square for payment processing. During the checkout process, we are NOT processing your payment directly. The Checkout page is communicating directly with Square. When you add your payment information, this information is sent directly to Square via WooCommerce, and we are not involved with this transaction process. We have strived to provide a secure experience for everyone to utilize.

Question: I am attempting to submit my payment, and keep getting an error???
Answer:
During the checkout process, we are NOT processing your payment directly. The Checkout page is communicating directly from your web browser to Square. People have reported issues with processing Square payments when using their Work-Issued computer. Depending on your organizations IT Policies, your browser may be prohibited to communicate with Square. This issue is beyond our control, and if you experience this, we recommend you submit your registrations using a “non-work” (aka non-IT controlled) computer.

Answer: Simple! Please contact us at pnwlinemanrodeo@gmail.com. We will try and respond as quickly as possible. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response since all board members are volunteers as well.
